This project is our very first with Solstice decking, a PVC product with one of the most advanced technologies available in PVC decking. Solstice has a durable shell to give it a high resistance to scratching, while the shell also does a very good job of reflecting heat, creating a cooler walking surface. The board also is arguably the strongest PVC board on the market. In addition, Solstice's warranty is also one of the best in the industry.

Black aluminum railing was chosen to complement the decking. The deck also uses a heavy-duty quadruple 2 by 12 beam with two 8 by 8 support posts, allowing a larger span for access to garage door entrance underneath.
