While some roof projects cover larger decks, roofs are naturally more affordable if they cover only a portion of a larger project, such as the one shown in this project. The 12x14 roof is enough to provide reasonable protection from the rain and sun for three to four people, and there is still another area set aside to enjoy sunshine.
The project also includes AZEK decking with bronze aluminum railing.

This project included a 600 square foot AZEK deck with aluminum railing. Instead of upgrades such as hidden fasteners, vinyl post wrap, or diagonal decking, the customer chose to add a roof over one portion of the deck. While the roof adds aesthetic value, it also makes the deck much more usable by providing protection from the sun and rain.

This job is a open-air roof with a reverse gable that ties into the roof structure of the existing home. To keep the color scheme consistent with the home's exterior, we used matching siding and AZEK decking and skirting in the Morado color, one color in AZEK's new line of darker colors. This project has a full cathedral ceiling, finished with vinyl soffit.
